About Dinah

From the moment my younger brother was born, I have been fascinated with children and their development. I love their inquisitive nature and then witnessing their sense of wonderment when they discover something new. I thoroughly enjoy fostering their curiosity -- whatever they are interested in, we will explore. My goals are to teach them life skills, such as the ability to control their impulses, learn to share and to work with others, thereby developing an adaptive and well-adjusted child. My philosophy is to give them control over their learning; playing to their interests which leads to self-actualization, all in a positive environment. I praise hard work and effort and I teach them to become independent thinkers and also to be considerate and respectful. My years of experience, from nurturing babies to tween, long-term and short-term care, has helped me fine-tune my approach. I love being a nanny!
