I had the privilege to grow up with a special-needs cousin and this experience has equipped me with skills in taking care of children for special needs. I have learned to be patient, compassionate and understanding and develop a sense of empathy that enables me to connect with children in a deeper level. It also allowed me to develop practical skills such as assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support and fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
