About Diane

I recently moved to Cornelius from Cincinnati OH and retired after many years of teaching. I have my doctorate in education and have taught elementary school students for over 25 years. I also taught at 3 universities for 8 years. After settling in my new home, I find that I really miss my students and teaching. It is my passion and would love to tutor a couple of elementary school age children in my home. I am comfortable with any subject and would love to help your child catch up or get ahead for next year. I'd describe my personality as cheerful, compassionate and intuitive. I like tutoring because I am passionate about education. I think it is one of the most valuable gifts a child can receive. I'm looking for a job where I can apply my many years of teaching experience and help a child feel confident. One thing you should know about me is that I never had my own children. I felt completely fulfilled with the hundreds of children I had in my classrooms.
