About Diana

Hello! I am Diana from an Italian American family. I grew up in a culture that respectfully takes care of their elders. I spent every week of my childhood playing cards, reading out loud, walking, cooking and crafting with my grandparents. I remember those times as calm and sweet. My entire career had been in the arts- bringing artmaking to a high school and senior center. Since 2014, I have brought collaborative art therapy and mural making to communities living and thriving with illness. Turning 60 this summer, I want to focus on more one-to-one engagement. supporting elders to stay in touch and keep doing the things they loved. I love to cook! Does your elder have a special family favorite which they have not cooked or baked in years? We can shop then cook. Would your elder like to re- institute a friend get together? I can match arts and cultural activities with wherever they are at cognitively and mobility wise. Ciao! Diana who speaks basic Italian.
