Hello. I am a former restaurant and bakery owner, something that I did for 30 years. My last restaurant was completely gluten-free and vegan. I have also taught school intermittently. Currently I am working as a substitute teacher in both the Carpinteria Unified School District and the Santa Barbara Unified School District. I took care of two of my grandchildren two and three days a week while my daughter worked. With her third one she left her job but I still try to make one day available to give her a break! My listed availability indicates the hours that I am almost always available, but I do have additional hours. I am happy to do some light house cleaning while I babysit when time allows, as well as meal preparation. When, raising my own kids, we were always doing creative activities and sports. I would be happy to take your child to whatever activity they are involved in.

Diana is a fantastic babysitter. I have two children ages five and seven and they love having Diana come to our house, go to the park, have dinner together, or walk down to Rusty‘s. I’ve given Diana permission to bring her dog Greta and that’s another plus for my kids. She has babysat for me about 10 times and is always on time, and being a grandmother herself, always has ideas about how to entertain the kids. Diana also used to own a bakery and has baked with the kids numerous times
