Diamonde was my son's nanny for 2.5 years. When we departed, it was only because my son was entering full-time preschool. If there was a way to keep her forever we would have. Unfortunately, we decided that the 16yo version of my son who still had a nanny and no education might be problematic ha. All to say, when she left, she was family, not just a nanny. Very involved, focused, thoughtful, careful but not to the extent that my son couldn't explore and find his own personality and likes/dislikes. I never worried when he was with Diamonde. And she's great with animals! Did dogsitting in addition (and general just dealing with a crazy dog.)
