About Dia Juliana

Hello! My name is Dia and I recently moved to Nashville from Clarksville and I am currently attending APSU remotely studying psychology. Growing up in the Philippines I volunteered for orphanages keeping children from ages 6-10. A specific organization was Gawad Kalinga which housed displaced children from typhoons, where I engaged in play-time, bible study, and reading and writing skills. Another experience of mine was tutoring seventh graders for this college readiness program called AVID, which helped them in their career path and academic development. I have also loved working at a local Church daycare. I love sharing my culture with the children I keep whether it is through telling stories, playing childhood games or teaching simple words in Tagalog. In working with families my duty is to ensure that your child's routine is maintained consistently and I am adaptable. My goal is to, always put the needs of the children first to create an atmosphere where they can thrive.
