About De'yonica

Hello! My name is De'Yonica. I am looking to grow my experience with kids whether that be through a reoccurring gig or a one time thing. When it comes to service and support, I'm your girl! My interests include music, art, learning, reading, getting outside, and most of all having fun. I am Basic Life Support Certified. I have experience working in daycare, senior home care, and behavioral health. I recently graduated with my Masters in Social work and hope to one day own a nonprofit community center that is focused on positive youth development and advocating for at risk populations. I like working with kids because when you empower the youth through activities they like as well as surrounding them with positive models, they are inclined to learn more. I love watching kids develop. They are the future. Not to mention they awaken my inner playfulness!
