About Devyn

Hello, my name is Devyn and I'm an early career biologist working in biotech! I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and spent my senior year of college as a peer tutor. I'm a passionate learner and thoroughly enjoy helping students learn and thrive through tutoring! Tutoring courses including biology, chemistry, and math in the middle school through college level. I'd describe my personality as mostly introverted, focused, and easy going. I like tutoring because I believe all students are capable of thriving in any subject if provided the correct support. I've experienced feeling lost and frustrated in class due to teaching styles that didn't work for me. I want to help students overcome hurdles and excel in their coursework. I started tutoring when during my senior year of college. In my spare time, I like to read, go on walks, do jigsaw puzzles, and watch sports.
