About Devon

I'm a compassionate and experienced caregiver dedicated to providing the best care for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. With a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and certification in First Aid and CPR, I bring a deep understanding of child development, including working with children with developmental and emotional disabilities. My background includes roles as a preschool teacher, registered behavior technician, behavior coach/ mentor, and a mentor-level therapist. I'm experienced in supporting those who use AAC devices or have limited verbal communication. I believe in building strong, open communication with parents and following their lead in maintaining household routines. I prioritize each child's individuality and create a nurturing environment where curiosity and exploration are encouraged. I'm currently a behavior intervention specialist pursuing a PhD in psychology to further enhance my skills and knowledge for the benefit of the children I care for.
