I am 24 years old and am a social worker paraprofessional in SW VA. I have taken care of a man who had severe epilepsy and an intellectual disability for 5 years and a woman with autism, epilepsy and OCD for 6 years. I officially became an attendant in June, 2019. I am experienced with seizures, balance issues, ADHD, OCD, non-verbal, and emergency protocols. I also can do house work such as cleaning or laundry, preparing meals, pickup/drop off, or helping with school work. In 2024 I obtained my QMHP-T and graduated with my bachelors in psychology and a minor in special education and began my masters in social work. I now have my QMHP-A and work primarily at a high-behavioral crisis home. I have also worked with schizophrenia, CP, fetal alcohol syndrome, fragile X, BPD, among other behavioral disorders. Im also trained in MANDT and PCM as well as medication administration, CPR/first aid, and rectal/nasal Diazepam administration.
