Hello, my name is Devon. I am 40 years old. I am originally from the east coast, lived in San Diego & Denver over the last 14yrs, and now I'm back! I enjoy fresh air, arts & crafts, traveling, and spending time with my dog. I received my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver specializing in trauma, families, and the geriatric population. Primarily, my work focuses on those suffering with Dementia and/or the end of life, and their families. Quality of life is of the upmost importance. Mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis. I utilize a strengths-based approach and concentrate on setting each individual up for success. I am upbeat, dedicated, patient, compassionate, resourceful, and a non-smoker. I have plenty of experience medical and medication management, companion care, coordinating activities. I have experience working with those with low vision, macular degeneration, and behavioral issues.. I can speak very very basic Spanish language.
