I have exp working with disabled veterans. Due to my work with the IDD and autism communities, I've spent almost 20 yrs being certified to document and administer medication to my clients. I have a strong background working with autistic individuals, specifically lvl 3. My father was a member of the disabled veterans community. I helped him navigate the VA bureaucracy, took him to all hospital visits, managed/prepped all medications, advocated for him, and managed all of his appointments. I successfully petitioned the VA for a grant to build him a disability ramp for his home due to mobility issues. I am comfortable around pets of all types. I don't mind if they are dogs, cats, snakes, or lizards. I have a BA from The Univ. of CA Psychology and 1 yr of Graduate Studies completed in Social Work. I have previous experience teaching CPR/First Aid/Community Water Safety/swim lessons/ Life Guard Certification for the American Red Cross, YMCA, and the Salvation Army.
