I have previously been employed with the YMCA as both a camp counselor (2 years) and as a preschool assistant (2 years). While serving as a camp counselor, I worked with children from ages 7 to 12. In most recent years, I have worked at the YMCA preschool (East Boston) with children from as young as 1 to 6 years old. Also, this past summer, I babysat a 1 and a half year old part-time. I am currently studying Elementary Education. With an innate love for children, I hope to become an Elementary School Teacher. Through being a preschool assistant, I have learned responsibility, punctuality, and patience, but the most important lesson I have attained is that each child I have encountered is a unique individual person with their own strengths, weaknesses and talents.

Devin is such an amazing babysitter and person! She has been with us for a year for our 2 year old and we, just adore her. My son has some sensory issues and can tend to be a handful, and Devin is so great with him. He especially loves when she does art with him and read with him. We love when Devin comes over to watch him when we need a sitter and in the summer when we need one as well. I highly recommend her to any family she is a blessing to have and any child would be lucky to have her as their sitter/nanny. Please feel free to contact me if any more information is needed.
