About Devin

I am an outgoing and dedicated 24 y/o who strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable expressing their feelings and needs. My passion for working with children is backed by a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my ongoing pursuit of a Master's in clinical Social Work with a focus in trauma. I have worked with children throughout my life, starting as the oldest sister of 5 siblings, which gave me invaluable experience in caregiving from a young age. Professionally, I have worked at the YMCA in child care and as a summer camp counselor, caring for children from 8 mos to 16 y/o. Currently, I am deeply involved in in-home therapy and mentoring work with children, helping them navigate life. I am passionate about fostering a fun-loving, inclusive, and supportive environment. My approach emphasizes emotional safety, where kids feel valued and heard. I enjoy the company of friends and family exploring new places, or curling up with a good book.
