My name is Devin, and in addition to working in child care I'm an actress and comedian. I have about seven years experience nannying for newborns, infants, toddlers, and elementary school aged kids. I have also worked as an improvisational comedy instructor with middle school and high school students. In addition I have a background in art and design so I like to bring A LOT of creativity to my work with kids. As far as special needs experience goes, I have done volunteer work at Misericordia in Chicago. It is a home and community for people with mild to profound developmental and physical disabilities with a mission for their residents to achieve their full potential. My Aunt, Sister Rosemary C. is the founder and executive director of Miz, and my entire family has been involved in their work since I was a kid. I also have a cousin with severe autism, growing up with him provided a lot of insight into different ways to communicate with people on the spectrum.
