About Destiny

Hey there! My name is Destiny, I'm a mother to a 7-year-old with a passion for both healthcare and community involvement. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant with CPR/BLS certification and have hands-on experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, and in-home healthcare. I've worked with patients of all needs, from helping with daily activities like bathing and feeding to operating transfer devices like hoyers and sara lifts. I also have experience caring for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's. Currently, I'm pursuing my education as a Licensed Vocational Nursing student, excited to advance my skills in the medical field. In addition to my healthcare background, I've spent many years working with children, including time as a school site secretary. Outside of work, I've also had the privilege of being a Girl Scout troop leader and a youth soccer coach, which has been a rewarding way for me to give back to my community.
