About Destiny

Hello, my name is Destiny! I graduated last December, and am now a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. I have been a member of Care since 2018, which has helped me pave my way through undergrad. However, I was recently logged out of my old account and can't regain access. I am also the oldest of 5, with an age gap of 15 years. I come from a very diverse family, allowing me to be culturally aware with others. I have worked with multiple families on occasion for date nights, vacations, etc. However, I have also worked with two families longer- term. I am the type of nanny that won't be on her phone all day, but will engage by doing crafts with the children, taking them on field trips, playing at the playground with them, etc. If they are at the infant age, I will encourage phonemic awareness activities by reading books, singing, etc. During my time with families, I help with light housekeeping to lighten the load for them.
