About Destiny

Hi, my name is Destiny & I am a 19-year-old first time expecting mom! I have always had a great passion for taking care of people, even as a little girl. I have experience with individuals ranging from newborns to disabled seniors. When I was 13, I began taking care of my grandfather who has parkinsons disease. It started with me helping him into the shower & grooming him, but as things progressed so did his need(s) of care. I have experience with checking vital signs, checking glucose levels, administering medications, grooming, bathing, cooking, housekeeping, driving individuals to doctors appointments & accompanying them, bed transfers, feeding, wound care (was taught by my grandfathers home care nurse), & just being a companion for them in the way they need. I have a lot of patience & I have experience with individuals who have deteriorating diseases/illnesses such as parkinsons disease & dimentia.
