About Destini

Working as a Paraprofessional and Paraprofessional Therapist for 3+years, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience. I am experienced with not only kids but kids with ADHD, ADD, OCD, OD and CD through training at the Center for Children and Families at Florida International University. I have also had internships and fellowships at New York University (my main school) and at the University of Pennsylvania surrounding mental health within children and adolescents. Passionate about understanding and gaining knowledge in the psychological science fields, I am eager to gain research and clinical experience to not only understand science but people. Aspiring to get a medical doctorate degree in psychiatry, my experience in different fields of work reflect my passion in helping, understanding and educating people.
