About Destiney

Hi My Name is Destiney I am 28, and I've been a caregiver for the past 12 years, Since I was 16. I am dependable and I love what I do. I have a great passion for helping people who cannot do for themselves, and to help them become more independent. I first worked as a caregiver for 6 years with a 87-year-old female with dementia and other health complications. I then worked for 2 Years at an Adult day facility, with about 42 clients with a wide range variety of disabilities, from clients that were high functioning to clients who were non ambulatory and completely dependent. I did meal preparation, personal care tasks. I assisted with personal hygiene, grooming and feeding. I also transported clients to and from their homes and facility, In a 10 person Van. We also took clients on outings, to stores, parks, and library's. It was alot of fun, and I really enjoy caring for others, especially the elderly .
