About Desiree

As a passionate childcare provider with 15 years of experience, I'm dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of children. My journey in caregiving began with raising my own 4 children - volunteering in the classroom and eventually becoming a preschool teacher, which solidified my desire to support families and help children grow. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with creativity and imagination, allows me to connect with children on a deeper level. I believe in open communication with parents and ensure regular updates about their child's day. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I'm very comfortable maintaining a structured environment. I enjoy engaging children in various activities, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that enhance learning. I am graduating with a BA in Early Childhood Education in Spring 2025. I have diverse training, including First Aid and CPR, I'm well-equipped to handle any situation.
