I hope this recommendation helps anyone who is looking for someone reliable, professional, communicative, and WONDERFUL. I needed a babysitter extremely last minute to watch our almost 2 year old daughter while my husband and I were attending a conference. The ask was super weird, since I needed someone to come to the hotel and stay with my daughter in the room, and do so at different blocks of time throughout the weekend. I was sooo nervous about getting a babysitter in this situation regardless since I don't know anyone in Louisville who could personally recommend someone. Desiree was a GOD send. Not only was she available and willing to watch our daughter throughout the entire weekend at our needed times, she was super communicative and thorough about making sure she had the times correct. I even brought my 'babysitting directions manual' and she was really good about sticking to it, but also adjusting/pivoting when it made sense for my daughter. I will also add that Desiree's professional recommendations RAVED about her as a person, so that also gave me a really good indication that I could trust a complete stranger with my child (I usually like to do a meet and greet with babysitters before a job, but under the circumstances...this was impossible). I also appreciate the fact that Desiree went above and beyond and brought her own toys/supplies to keep my girl engaged/occupied. (There's only so many things you can pack in your suitcase so...we were a little limited!) Aside from that, my girl loved "Miss Desiree." She instantly warmed up to her and always said how much fun she had with her. I really wish Desiree moved to our area because she would instantly become our number one babysitter.
