We hired Desiree in the summer of 2023 to care for our ailing parents. My sister & I live in a different state, and we knew our parents needed additional help if they wanted to stay in their home. We initially hired Desiree for one day a week to assist them with getting to their doctors’ appointments, running errands and cooking, but as my mother’s health deteriorated, she ended up helping them 5 days a week. She would come in the morning before her regular shift began and, in the evenings, to help with nighttime routine and meds. Near the end, there were a couple times my mother ended up in the ER and Desiree stayed with her until my sister or I were able to get there. During one ER visit, the nurse pulled me aside to share how wonderful Desiree was with my mother. She said she saw many caregivers and Desiree was amazing! Desiree is a thoughtful, reliable and caring individual & I would recommend her to any family without reservation. We were lucky to have her!
