I'd describe my personality as crafty, patient, and empathetic. I like working with kids because I love how they learn and meet milestones. And, of course, the hugs! I'm looking for a job that allows me to get to know kids on a personal level and meet their specific needs. I started working with kids when my child was born. I was amazed by everything developmental that was happening, so I started Early Childhood Education college coursework and substitute teaching at the local elementary school. Then, seven years ago after I moved back to Texas I started working in licensed preschools with younger kids. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, play a few video games, garden, go camping and play drums. One thing you should know about me is I have lots of experience working with infants in particular, plus children with special needs.
