Hi! My nickname is Rae, and I've been a preschool teacher for the last 7 years. I'm generally available during the week starting at 3:30pm, and can work Saturday or Sunday. I've been the lead teacher in rooms with kids 6 weeks old, all the way up to 6 years. I like working with kids because I love witnessing how they learn and socialize. And, of course, the hugs! I started working with kids when my child was born. I was amazed by everything that was happening, so I started ECE coursework and substitute elementary teaching. Then, seven years ago, I started working in licensed preschools with younger kids. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, play video games, garden, camping and play drums. One thing you should know about me is I have lots of experience working with infants in particular, plus children with special needs.

We were lucky enough to have Rae take care of our daughter for a few weeks while we try to get in the rhythm of having weekly date nights. Normally a worried, I never have to worry about leaving my 3-year-old daughter with Rae because she is always so patient, punctual, and kind. When she’s over she’s helping my daughter learn by doing art projects, playing music or doing puzzles. My daughter loves her and now frequently asks when auntie Rae is coming over. We couldn’t be happier and while I’m tempted to gatekeep, that’d be a huge disservice to all parents :)
