About Desiree

With extensive experience working with children of all ages and developmental levels, I am passionate about fostering children's growth and development. As a Child Life graduate student, I have worked with children as a nanny, as an intern for Make-A-Wish foundation, and as a volunteer in children's hospitals including abroad in South Africa. I'm skilled at creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I'm patient, outgoing, and creative, and I love providing an effective schedule balance with opportunities for play, rest, socialization, and learning. I have my own transportation and am comfortable with pets and light household duties. I believe in open and honest communication, and I enjoy collaborating with parents to implement preferred methods of teaching.
