Newborn "Gap" & Respite Care Services In My Home My specialty is caring for little ones, specifically newborns, in my home. I have a heart for "standing in the gap" during the period between care by an at home parent and a more formal child care arrangement. I have a degree from LSU in Child & Family Studies, with 20+ years experience. I am trained in infant first aid & CPR and as a Nurses Assistant. I typically commit to the care of one infant at a time, beginning as early as 8 weeks old, until 12 mos old (max). My services are temporary by design, and typically best suited for families during the period while your little one is either aging into day care, and/or waiting to come off of a list. This is a very niche based form of highly specialized care, specific to your child and designed to be an extension of your family. I understand that I am not for everyone, but to the right family, I will be everything! Please reach out if you think we might be a good fit.

Rae is punctual, sharp, trustworthy, and caring. She is a seasoned mama, which brought me great comfort! She is so good about giving updates during the day. I appreciate her background in childcare/development because she really knows her stuff about milestones and appropriate development and behavior. She is attentive and careful not to be on her phone unless she has to be. I would trust her with my child ANYTIME. We love her like family now!
