About Desiree

Although most of my professional background is related to wildlife and pet care, I have recently moved to Boston and have enjoyed my summer babysitting job here and would love to book another job. I started caring for children in middle school for my aunts or mother would need babysitters during the summer breaks. In high school I took an early education course each year that allowed us to work one on one with preschoolers to engage in creative play and helping children meet kindergarten requirements. This lead to me getting my first job in college as a babysitter. Once I became a Zoo Keeper, I still made an effort to interact and educate children, whether they were apart of the Zoo Camp or just a guest of the Zoo. I believe I will always enjoy working around children regardless of whichever career I end up pursuing and would love to work for you and your family if given the chance! Can't wait to chat more!
