I have experience with caregiving seniors I cared for my stepfather for 10 year's till he ended up with kidney failure so I had no choice but to put him in a home. I administered his medications, meal prep as he was a diabetic. Ran all errands needed, scheduled appointments and transported him to every appointment. I payed his bills, laundry and housekeeping. I took him on daily walks, to the park weather permitting as we were from Pennsylvania. He was slowly getting dementia but it didn't matter to me as I always made sure we had endless talks, doing puzzles or watching his favorite shows even if it was over and over again. I may have not been paid for this but you do what you can out of love and to keep them out of a home as long as possible. I also worked 2 days a week for someone caring for her mother.
