About Denise

I'm a professional woman who's been retired about 7 years. I raised two incredibly kind, brilliant, successfully launched sons who are now 31 and 28. I've been a regular nanny for two families in the past, and have numerous families for whom I babysit regularly. I studied hard how to parent when my kids were young and learned the concept of natural consequences. When I asked my son at 22 why he continued to make good choices, he said, " respected you Mom, and you respected me." I don't spank, I don't yell, I don't scold, I don't shame, but I seem to have a magic way to earn that respect and elicit good behavior. I'm silly, funny, and love to laugh. Snuggles, reading, and playing are important, Unfortunately, I'm unable to commit to any regularly scheduled jobs, but I'd love to be on your list for emergency care when your regular sitter is away or sick, or for date nights (or days). I'm drive your car with your car seats, I'll run errands, prep or start a meal, do laundry, pick up.
