About Denise

My initial experience with senior care was with my own grandma. Unfortunately, she wasn't very ambulatory due to an accident that crushed her knee cap. I always pampered her manicures and pedicures as she only trusted me to do them because she had a couple conditions that made her feet extremely sensitive. When my mom was 65, she broke her back. She required quite a bit of help with every aspect of life. She had a couple of set backs with the healing process so her road to recovery was long. From those two experiences, I came to see that I enjoyed helping people in that way. Most of my work experience has been with children, teaching, tutoring and nannying, but I've found that both young and old need patience, understanding, kindness and encouragement. I enjoy being in that role with all ages!
