About Denise

I hold two Masters degrees in Teaching and Special Education. I taught children with developmental disabilities for years. In addition to working with vulnerable children, I supported many friends and family members through terminal illnesses. There is a similarity in elders and children I find purposeful. I can prepare meals, organize the living space, run errands, and help administer medications as needed. I take excellent notes, good at scheduling Dr appointments, helping with occupational or physical therapy requirements. I am supportive, non-judgmental, and an excellent listener. I find joy and bring humor and kindness to all situations. I am comfortable with hospice care as well as end of life discussions, planning services, and organizing events.
