About Denise

I was accepted to UC Davis veterinary college from High School but was unable to attend . I have always been good with animals of all kinds. I have been told I have a calm spirit, which animals sense and respond positively to. I bought, broke and trained two Arabian stallions in the early 1990s; in addition to getting married; to prove to myself I could do it on my own, as I had always been an assistant to my father. My husband and I used it as a together project and we ground broke, halter and bridle trained our boys, and we spent months riding them together. I used to whelp AKC Labrador puppies; if the mother's had difficulty giving birth; for my parents who bred and sold them for years. I personally had cats as I find them more independent and intelligent than dogs, but I do enjoy both. I had every pet imaginable as a child and we had many other animals one would see on a farm.
