I was a caregiver to an elderly woman for 2 years. I assisted her with dressing, made breakfast and lunch, made sure she took her medicine, took her to doctor appointments, grocery store, physical therapy, and walked alongside her while out getting some fresh air and exercise. I also did light housekeeping. I was always on time and reliable, caring and looked forward to the time I'd spend with her. She has moved to Florida but we do keep in touch. I recently cared for a woman who was in a wheelchair and on oxygen. I made her breakfast and lunch, reminded her to take her medication, helped her get dressed, fed the birds for her, played games and was a companion to her. I also did light housekeeping.
