Experienced educator with 15+ yrs of teaching experience. Comfortable with all ages. I'd describe my personality as creative, resourceful, and reliable. I enjoy tutoring because learning is a lifelong journey and I have witnessed how empowering and transformative effective education can be for children, teens, and adults. I'm looking for a job that provides meaningful support for individuals and families. I started tutoring over 30 years ago. In my spare time, I like to take long walks by the beach, read, write, and spend time with my family. I have four children - 24, 22, 14, & 11yrs old. One thing you should know about me is that I value education as well as helping children and adults find healthy solutions to balance school/work/life. I embrace parenting and partnering with families to overcome both common/unique challenges. My skills include reading, writing, math, and study strategies.
