I am interested in the personal aide position, working part-time hours. I worked as a Program Director for a nonprofit agency for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. I overseen several group homes, and ensured that our residents were given excellent care, and that they were living the best quality of life. I have experience working with the medically fragile, which includes individuals who are non-ambulatory, and uses a wheelchair. I have training in Hoyer lifts, transfer techniques, and crisis intervention. I am certified in CPR, first aid, Diabetes training which includes insulin management, and defensive driving training.
