About Denise

COVID-19 vaccinated I am a USAF veteran and my first job after separating from the military was in an assisted living/memory care facility. I have over 5 years experience working with older adults. I've worked as an activity director, where I planned activities for residents and encouraged them to be active. I've also worked as a resident aide where I helped with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and feeding. I also have experience with taking vitals, medication management, meal prep, laundry and general housekeeping. I also have experience working with those on hospice and providing end-of-life care. My family moved to Omaha in July 2017 and since then I have worked with 3 families. I am currently in nursing school at Nebraska Methodist College. My goal after graduation is to find a job working with seniors in some capacity. It really is my passion. I'm looking for a part-time job that is somewhat flexible as my schedule may change each semester.
