For 10 years I worked for the same high profile employer. I was everything from personal chef, caterer, personal assistant, estate manager, event planner, errand runner, grocery shopper, banking responsibilities and calendar keeper. I am personable and have a gift for anticipating the needs of my clients and employers. I have been a caterer, providing personal chef services and nutritional consultations, recipe writing and consulting with businesses on their menus and recipes. I maintain a high level of integrity in all of my relations and am reliable and responsible. I can provide excellent references. For the past 12 years I have pursued various caregiving and end-of-life trainings. I have become passionate about my work within the geriatric community and a proud supporter of the-aging-in-place movement. This allows loved ones to stay in the comfortable and familiar surroundings until their end. I love supporting families in this process. I look forward to speaking with you!

Dena was a household manager and personal chef for a doctor. She worked for him for a total of a about 10 years. He lived on a 120-acre ranch with 4 houses and 2 office buildings. She started out as a house cleaner, but ultimately hired, fired, trained, and supervised the cleaning personnel. She purchased all household supplies, sourced many unusual cooking ingredients, and did all of the regular grocery shopping. This is no small feat, as the doctor has his own line of cookware, is a partner in 10 restaurants, and is about to publish his third cookbook. She helped him test and develop recipes, and prepared meals for countless house guests and business associates. She coordinated with the gardener to plant and harvest organic produce and flowers. Dena also worked with the ranch foreman and all outside contractors as needed to schedule repairs and maintenance of all of the buildings. She coordinated product testing with the licensees (such as cookware, teas, oils, dog food, and skin care products). She took care of his dogs, taking them to the vet and caring for them at her house or house sitting at the ranch when he traveled. In addition to these varied and demanding duties, Dena served as my backup in the office, answering the phone, filing, packing and shipping boxes, answering public mail and requests for the doctor to write book endorsements. She is a positive person, helpful, humble, dependable, and loyal, as well as being very intelligent. Everyone loved her and was sorry to see her move back to Michigan. Nancy
