About Dena

A little more about me. I'm a mom to 3. My daughters are both married and my oldest daughter has my 3 grandsons and they call me DEDE which I carry with great honor! My son is a senior at a Christian school where he's the school chaplain and very active in sports. He's been there since kindergarten and it's a University Model school where he goes three days a week and I would homeschool him on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have lots of teaching experience too as I have been a substitute teacher at his school over the years as well. My son and I are part of an organization called YMSL where we serve many different philanthropies. I have extensive childcare experience over the years with my own kids and grandkids. I was also a children's church leader for 8 years at a church in Rowlett and helped run the Awanas program there. I've been involved in many church camps and VBS. I'm also CPR and first aid certified.
