We interviewed Taylor to be an occasional date night sitter and my husband and I had an upcoming trip for 5 days we potentially wanted to hire her to stay with our 2 boys while we were gone. We told her let's do a "meet and greet" type thing while my husband and I were at home with her so she could get to know our boys. That went great. The following day I hired Taylor to stay alone with my boys while I went to an appointment. That went great. I then communicated to her maybe trying a single overnight( to slowly ease into the 5 day stay) she agreed. We spoke multiple times about pay as well as all the details and came to an agreement. After taking into consideration the amount Taylor would charge for the 5 day stay as well her changing up her availability during that 5 day period in June, I decided to no longer have her stay the 5 days in June but asked if she'd be interested in still doing the one overnight since I still planned to use her as a date night sitter for the future. She ignored me for a day when I was trying to confirm with her and then 4 days out from the agreed upon overnight stay she canceled and told me she was no longer interested in watching my kids at all. I responded asking her if I could ask why because I felt she was great with my kids and we communicated very well to which I found out she blocked me.
