After confirming scheduling the shifts, payments etc., she wanted to see our residence. She was even going to make and bring a sopa, for us for dinner the first night. She canceled and didn’t show. She then tried to meet again the next day and then abruptly canceled her employment only two days before starting. She claimed to have absolutely no references either. It’s my suspicion that she found a higher paying position, but really left us in a bind, with no coverage and no time to find the right person. She claimed that it was because I had wanted to interview her, which is a cop out, but we probably dodged a bullet. Now I’m forced to use extremely expensive and temporary coverage, until we can figure out a permanent solution.
