I have had a years experience with hands on care as a GNA but have worked with the elderly for nearly five years as I was a dietary aide at the nursing home before. I believe that the aides are the people who help them thrive as they age. While they may lose abilities, it is up to us to help complete them fully so they stay healthy. I love working with the senior population and treat each one of them like my own grandparents.
