About Delanie

Hello! My name is Delanie. I am a 22-year-old college student, and I am currently enrolled at Harrisburg Area Community College, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. I started my career in childcare when I was 20, working at my local YMCA in the childcare center. In my 2 years of working for my YMCA I have worked in every single classroom offer. I was the assistant in the 1-year-old room and the 2-year-old room. As well as stepping into a more leadership role; as a lead teacher in our infant room and preschool room. Also, I have been a babysitter for about 2 years now, working with families with children ages ranging from 11 months to 7 years old. I am an eager, ambitious, and bubbly woman, and I adore working with kids. Guiding them in daily activities and crafts, to see them master a skill, is a moving and humbling experience. My hobbies include reading (my kindle is also in my bag) and going to target. Oh and I also worked at Walt Disney World! References are available.
