About Delaney

Hello! My name is Delaney. I have 5 years of experience in being a "moms helper" and a babysitter. I have been a lifeguard the past three summers, and I was previously a swim coach for 3 years for ages 3-8, all of which are where I learned that I love helping others in anyway that I can. I am looking for a job more consistent as I will be attending NOVA in the fall; however, my schedule is pretty flexible as of now. My past experiences in babysitting have also consisted of doing some house chores, running errands, taking kids to practices, helping out kids with homework, etc. My passion for child care came from being the "big kid"/natural babysitter in the neighborhood, and ever since I was young I learned to enjoy teaching and helping kids or even just putting a smile on their face :) Watching a child learn new skills and new experiences through life is one of the most heartwarming opportunities, and I often learn many things from the kids as well!
