About Delaney

Hi! I'm Delaney , a current college student looking for a family in need of summer care. I am a microbiology major at the University of Vermont, but will be back home in Ohio for the summer. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, creative, warm, and fun! I enjoy working with kids because I love being around children. Beginning when I was young, I've loved helping families with their children and just with being able to connect with kids. I started working with kids when I was around 11. I've nannied and babysit consistently since then. I've worked at both after-school programs and daycares as well. In my spare time, I like to read, do crafts, hang out with my friends, watch movies, and play with my pets. My skills include calm intervention, creativity, multitasking, listening, being firm but kind, and connecting with children. I've bonded with many of the children I've worked for and hope to do the same with a new family!
