About Delaney

I'd describe my personality as fun-loving, honest, and kind. I like working with animals because I feel like they make great companions and act as great listeners. I feel comfortable around animals and I like to think that they are comfortable with me. I'm looking for a job that can be fun and reliable. While being a graduate student, I am looking for jobs that I can pick up as they come in. I started working with animals when I was 15 or 16. I started staying the night with my mom's coworker's fur babies when I was in high school. She had five dogs and a bird that I stayed with. After that, word around their work spread and I started animal care for coworkers. In my spare time, I like to crochet and read! Definitely in my "grandma era". My skills include keeping a clean environment for pets (scooping a litter box, refilling water throughout the day, etc), getting along with animals right away, and keeping a close eye on animals within my care.
