About Delane

Hi, I'm DeLane - I have over 5 years of professional nanny experience (although I did start babysitting at 9 years old haha). I studied child development in college and have a great understanding of child psychology. I use this knowledge with the kids I nanny, helping them to work through their big feelings, feel loved, explore and be curious, and grow emotionally. Understanding how a child's mind works helps me to work with the stage their brain is at and to be a supportive caretaker. I've worked with most age ranges, spanning from 8 months to 12 years old. I'm originally from UT, so naturally, I love the outdoors. I'm happiest in nature - boating, skiing, swimming, playing sports, being in the sun, hiking, etc. I love being able to take the kids out of the house and into nature, letting them play and experience the world.
