About Dekyi

I discovered my love for children when I began work at my local YMCA. There, I began as an instructor for toddler sports classes, as well as a birthday party attendant. To add, I sometimes worked in the gym's childcare service, where I realized I wanted to do more. Thus, I took on a semester of education courses including child psychology, foundation of multicultural education, and child development. The YMCA facility had an early childhood education center where I became an assistant preschool teacher. During my time at the preschool, I worked plenty of hours in the infant rooms as well. Post preschool graduation, I continued my time there by becoming a kiddie camp counselor for the summer!
