About Debra

I have up to date certifications for BLS, CNA, MAT and am working toward my LPN. I am a 44-year-old happily married mother of five (4 grown) and grandmother to seven. My degree is in graphic design. However, I have opted to spend most of my adult life caring for others whether it was in a licensed home childcare or classroom setting. With most of our children grown and our own parents aging, I have found myself increasingly more passionate about elder care. I was raised in a generational home and we are raising our youngest in a generational home. My grandparents played a positive core role in my life and I will always have a special place in my heart for elders! I am respectful, patient, caring, trustworthy and dependable. I have experience caring for and assisting those with both physical and mental handicaps. Assisting with light housework, meal prep, pet care, medications, and errands is part of the territory. However, I prefer not to transport those in my care in my vehicle.
