Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have recently moved to Va from NY to be nearer to my grandchildren. I have over 25 years of experience in household management, childcare and elder care. I can gladly provide references if required. Prior to my relocation, I worked for a family of 4 ( Mom, Dad, two girls) for almost 10 years. I started out as a nanny and my responsibilities evolved as the girls grew up. Some of my duties included ; Meal planning, preparation and food shopping, laundry, vacuuming, dishes and all errands that were needed. Keeping my employer informed when household repairs were required making sure work was scheduled and performed. I am looking for 30 to 40 hours a week but I was (am) flexible as things come up. We were incredibly lucky to have had Debbie as part of our family for 9 years. She was a constant source of support, care, and love for our two daughters. From the very beginning, she was trustworthy, reliable, and always went above and beyond to make sure our girls were happy and well-cared for. She played a huge role in their daily lives—driving them to their activities, helping with homework, and preparing fabulous, healthy meals that we all loved. Her ability to make nutritious food fun was something we truly appreciated. Not only was she a great caregiver, but she was also clever and incredibly handy around the house. Whether it was fixing things that needed attention or lending a helping hand with anything around the home, she always knew how to solve problems efficiently. We could always count on her, and she became like a second mother to our children. Her dedication, kindness, and positive energy are missed more than words can express. We are so grateful for everything she’s done for our family and will always consider her a part of it.
